Young woman with a variety of skills, Lopez is a writer, producer, actress, and singer. The thriller El Camino (2015), the television series True Lies (2023), and the short film The Girl Without Cats (2017), all of which she wrote, composed the music for, starred in, and executive produced, are some of her best known works.

Interested in knowing more about the actress? Here are seven things about Lopez you should know.

  1. Lopez has had other GH roles before Blaze. She appeared briefly in two episodes of the soap opera in 2015 and 2016, but she was credited as the “babysitter” in both of those years.
  1. Currently, Lopez is the creator and host of Workbook Radio, a podcast for working artists in the commercial advertising sector. It discusses what it means to stand out in the landscape and includes everything from interviews to panels.
  2. During her GH interview with Blaze, Lopez was required to sing. Which song did she prefer? Adele’s song “Rolling in the Deep” was her choice.
  3. She joked on Instagram that she could now say she “worked with” Matthew McConaughey after appearing in a Reliant Energy commercial. Well, at least his voice, Lopez said. The voice-over for the advertisement, it seems, was done by the movie star.
  1. In the 2019 pilot of Jane the Novela for the CW, Lopez was cast as the lead. The original show’s creator and executive production team served as the source for the telenovela anthology series. Sadly, the network ultimately decided against keeping it.
  2. She created the website SD Self Tape Bootcamp (https://www.sdselftapebootcamp.com/), which aims to improve actors’ self-tape skills in the post-Covid era. Lopez wrote on the website, “You guessed it, every producer session, callback, and booking I’ve gotten over the last three years has been via self tape. “I’m still booking and taping. Conclusion: I want you to succeed and I am aware of the requirements.
