What’s next in Summer Bay?

Next week on Home and Away, Kirby and Theo face a relationship hurdle after a misunderstanding over Bob.

Elsewhere, Bree gets closer to Remi while Jacob is away, and Justin tries to make amends with Mac after more drama involving Lyrik.

Here’s a full collection of eight big moments coming up.

Cash realises the truth about Bree

Cash remains intrigued after Remi and Eden both separately expressed concerns about a woman in the area who has an abusive husband. When Cash spots Remi and Bree having breakfast together, he guesses that Bree must be the individual in question.

Cash becomes just as concerned over Bree’s safety, so he asks Eden if Bree is any closer to involving the police. Eden confirms that Bree is reluctant to report Jacob.

Remi and Bree spend the night together

Remi and Bree make plans to go see Lyrik’s most recent performance at Salt while Jacob is abroad for work-related reasons. Remi goes to Bree’s hotel room to check on her when she doesn’t arrive.

In the end, Remi and Bree succumb to temptation and spend the night together. Bree tells Remi that she finally feels protected, and she is the happiest she has been in weeks.

Kirby’s decision crushes Theo

Bob tells Kirby how his music career has suffered since he left Lyrik. He requests permission from the band to join them on stage for one song during their upcoming performance at Salt in order to assist.

Kirby nods in agreement and texts Theo to inform him that Bob would perform with Lyrik at the following concert that evening. Theo interprets the information incorrectly and believes he has been replaced for the duration of the performance. When Theo doesn’t show up for the gig, the confusion comes to a disastrous conclusion.

Kirby confronts Theo

A jubilant Bob interrupts and offers to replace Theo for every song, but Lyrik decline to perform without their lead singer. Much to the dismay of the packed throng, Justin is forced to intervene and say the concert is being cancelled.

Kirby later blames Theo of betraying Lyrik, but Theo responds that he misinterpreted her message. It is obvious that the pair will have to resolve their misunderstandings as well as the constant conflict brought on by Bob’s stay in the Bay.

Justin faces Mac’s fury

Justin receives a reprimand from Mac when Lyrik abruptly cancels their performance. She notes that she has lost $2,000 in wages as a result of their last-minute choice and now demands reimbursement. When things get really bad, Mac even suggests completely terminating Lyrik’s contract.

Theo claims responsibility for the uncertainty and offers to cover the costs himself, but it’s not obvious where he’ll get the cash from.

Together, Justin and Theo put on a free performance in front of Salt in the hopes of attracting more customers and aiding Mac in making up her losses.

 Gary arrives in town

Gary, Cash and Felicity’s foster father, makes a visit to Summer Bay. Prior to Felicity’s wedding, Cash has invited him, but the future bride is unaware of it.

Gary and Felicity have a history of hostility, so she is surprised to discover him unexpectedly in her living room. Tane is forced to intervene and console her as she hurries off.

Tane gives Felicity some advice

Tane pushes Felicity to make amends with Gary, pointing out that he’s a decent guy and that all of their previous issues stemmed from Felicity’s loss of her parents. Felicity acknowledges that she tortured her foster parents when she was younger and that she now feels bad about it.

Felicity agrees to meet Gary, but when she does, she is overcome with emotion.

Xander is surprised by Stacey’s approach to dating

After having his first sexual experience with his new girlfriend Stacey, Xander is ecstatic. He suggests a cozy night in since he wants to spend as much time as possible with Stacey.

Stacey explains that she has a scheduled appointment with another man, therefore she is not available. She makes it clear that she doesn’t value monogamy and prefers to date several individuals at once.

When Stacey says she’s glad to stay seeing Xander if he adopts her dating philosophy, Xander is left with a choice to make.

When Xander tells Rose these details, she is taken aback. Rose worries that Xander is setting himself up for heartache because she is aware of how deeply he invests in his relationships.
