Georgie Parker reveals when she will leave Home and Away

Fans have begged Georgie Parker not to leave Summer Bay.

Since 2010, Georgie Parker, who previously played Justine Clarke as Ruth “Roo” Stewart, the daughter of Alf Stewart, has been on the program. As a result of her close friendships with Ray Meagher (Alf Stewart), Lynne McGranger (Irene Roberts), Emily Symons (Marilyn Chambers), and Ada Nicodemou (Leah Patterson), the legendary theater and movie diva has won over fans.

The actress doesn’t have any immediate plans to permanently leave Summer Bay, despite taking lengthy vacations there each year to indulge her passion for live theater.

The 58-year-old reveals she wouldn’t think of resigning while Ray was still working in an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle.

“I’m quite lucky that [producers] are incredibly accommodating and allowed me to go to do other things, which is very important to me. She says, “I’m so, so grateful for it.

Well, I wouldn’t leave while Ray is there because my character is his daughter and my plot revolves around him.

The actress assures fans that she is not “going anywhere” and says that she enjoys working with the other long-standing cast members.

The All Saints actress asserts that the most of the plots center on the “younger cast members,” but Georgie’s character had to make a significant choice when Belinda Giblin’s on-screen mother Martha Stewart, who needed a kidney, became ill.

Fans have pleaded with Georgie to stay in the cast after several key actors left this year, including Kawakawa Fox-Reo (Nikau Parata), Sophie Dillman (Ziggy Aston), and Patrick O’Connor (Dean Thompson).

“Please stay, you are a fantastic actress. Don’t leave because everyone at Summer Bay loves you, a supporter begged on social media.

Another said, “I love Georgie Parker, it [wouldn’t] be the same without you.

“I believe I will no longer watch Home and Away. Too many loyal customers have quit. Dean, Ziggy, and Nikau. Jasmine as well. A third person added, “I realize they can’t remain forever, but I don’t think it will ever be the same.

‘I adore Georgie. She is a fantastic actor, and Alf, Irene, John, and Marilyn are absolutely essential to the success of Home and Away, as another person noted.
