According to General Hospital spoilers, viewers are debating if Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), who may have been Mason Gatlin’s (Nathaniel Grey) boss, actually was. Mason might have gone out on his own after Victor’s quite timely passing, trying to make sure that Ava Jerome (Maura West) was used to the most extent possible. While some viewers believe Roger Howarth’s Austin Gatlin Holt is up to no good, others believe he may actually be rooting for Ava. Ava was exactly what he first encountered—a damsel in distress—and he does appear to have a thing for them. Is he working against her to fulfill Mason’s expectations, or is he truly trying to aid her as she continues to need him?
General Hospital Spoilers — Helena Cassadine And Victor Cassadine Ruled The Gatlin Family
According to this belief, Victor was in charge of Mason up until his passing. What about that boss lady, though? During the initial months following his relocation to Port Charles, Austin made various hints to her. Is it conceivable that Austin was never aware of Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers), the bossy woman who directed Mason’s actions? Austin might have noticed Victor dragging Mason about by the jowls, at which point he might have developed an interest solely out of loyalty to Ava and her family.
General Hospital Updates – Mason Gatlin Went Rogue
Mason’s ambitions would have suffered greatly from Victor’s passing. At that point, what was he expected to do with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss)? How could Mason afford to keep Nicholas alive as a medical hostage when he was allegedly suffering from a brain injury that would take a long time to recover? Did Victor plan for that ahead of time? Is it conceivable that Austin has offered assistance since Victor’s passing? Regardless, Austin made it quite apparent that he had no interest in returning to the family business after he met Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). But Austin seemed uneasy when Mason turned to look at Maxie and her young daughter. He may have intentionally messed up his relationship with her in order to have her avoid him. It seems sense that Austin might be wary of Mason if he has now turned renegade. If he is, he might be exerting every effort to prevent Mason from approaching Ava and her own daughter.
Austin Gatlin Holt Reels Him In
While many viewers worry if Austin is coercing Ava into agreeing with Mason’s demands because he is collaborating with his evil cousin, the truth might be that he is merely attempting to prevent the entire situation from collapsing. Austin may be trying to keep Nikolas in a perpetual coma or worse if he knows Nikolas is alive but hasn’t notified Ava. In either case, Austin will have his hands full attempting to stop Mason from doing any more damage to Ava and her family.
