General Hospital star Brook Kerr recently opened up about a bad habit that she just had to quit – and it’s one that many of us can definitely relate to! Here’s what she has to say.

The lovely beauty revealed in a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest that although she doesn’t have to worry about her curves, she did notice changes in her body during the epidemic while she was at home drinking wine like the rest of us. In her own words, Brook remarked, “Weight is something I’ve been really fortunate about genetically, but after my dad passed away and during the epidemic and everything, I was drinking wine, like, every night, and everyone said, ‘Oh, it’ll catch up with you!’ and I was becoming a bit bloated. I initially thought, “Oh, this is just me now,” but after I quit drinking wine every night this year, I realized, “Oh, my body was still there.”

“[I] put MCT oil in my coffee in the morning, which is another thing that I think helps,” she explained. It helps you stay balanced and energized all day long. Additionally, I advise against eating too late at night. I don’t eat beyond 7 or 8 o’clock if I’m at home, but if I’m out, it’s different.

Fortunately, Brook is someone who enjoys where she lives—largely because she gets to stand upright all the time! She said, “I reside in West Hollywood and walk to the coffee shop, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s every single day. Going on a walk now to purchase some frozen yogurt. I make an effort to go on a real trek once a week, and every weekend, I work out in some way. Earbuds are the greatest if you don’t like working out or going to the gym because you can utilize music or a podcast to take your mind off what you’re doing.Additionally, I believe it’s critical to simply keep moving forward and take action. Make a goal that you can reach in little steps. Make it four blocks tomorrow if you only walked three today. Don’t put yourself under so much strain that you give up because the objective is unattainable.
