General Hospital spoilers state that if there is one thing we know for certain about the make-believe town of Port Charles, it is that it is founded on falsehoods. However, such lies do come to light more frequently than not. Spencer Cassadine is the one who will have to learn that the hard way. However, actor Nicholas Chavez, who portrays Spencer on the popular ABC serial opera, claims that it’s best if his girlfriend Trina is kept in the know of his evidence decision. What you should know is as follows.
General Hospital Spoilers: Is Spencer Right To Keep The Truth From Trina?
In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Nicholas discussed the decision made by his alter ego and what it might imply for the future of Spencer and Trina. As many fans are aware, Nicholas made the decision to defy Trina and keep the maybe fabricated evidence from his late uncle Victor.
Nicholas responded to the question of why Spencer did what he did by saying, “I think he probably did want to see what it was, but it gets more complicated when you bring other people into the situation, even someone like Trina — maybe even especially someone like Trina, because she has such a good heart. He was attempting to dissuade her from doing it at the beginning of this because of this. “Perhaps we should just let this go,” he suggested. We can leave this behind. The packaging need not be opened. However, he will have to deal with it after she discovers what is in the box. He believes Esme [Avery Pohl] is at fault.regardless of what, hence it makes no difference if the proof is fabricated or not. Trina has clearly made up her mind (to the opposite), and he is unable to persuade her. Even still, he’s incredibly determined, so I don’t believe it was a surprise when he put the evidence back in the box at the end of that episode.

Also mentioned by Nicholas was the difference in morals between Spencer and Trina, for better or worse. He said, “It’s interesting because Trina and Spencer have such a deep love and concern for one another and are so drawn to one another. However, there is some crossover in terms of value systems, but there is also a completely separate aspect of each of them that doesn’t interact with the others. It’s a different approach to the game of life.
