Young and the Restless Teased a Horrifyingly Twisted Turn For Sharon and What She Does Next
Sharon Newman recently experienced a life-altering event that shattered her peaceful existence running the coffee shop. The return of Cameron Kffsten messed Sharon up real bad but there might be a silver lining after this harrowing ordeal. Cameron held Sharon’s daughter, Faith, hostage and attached a bomb to her body, putting their lives in imminent danger. He also held Sharon at knifepoint, threatening her with a gruesome fate.
After a protracted struggle, Sharon decided to act independently and ultimately killed Cameron by stabbing him with a dagger she had tucked under her skirt. They felt relieved by this action, but Nick, her ex-husband, was worried about Sharon’s mental health in the wake of such a horrific event.
Nevertheless, Nick recently committed the murder of Ashland Lock, so he is aware of the gravity of such a deed and its psychological effects. Then, it had been Sharon who had helped Nick through his battle; now, with their roles reversed, it was Nick who urged Sharon to accept it and face it head-on.
Sharon continued by telling Nick that she had recently begun to feel “alive” and “activated.” She spent her days making coffee and listening to other people’s worries, as if she had been in a condition of immobility ever since losing her husband Rey. She was now feeling fully awakened and ready to live life to the fullest. After Rey’s tragic passing, Sharon’s life has changed for the better.
So, would Sharon be embracing her vocation as a therapist in its entirety by launching her own psychotherapy clinic as her next step? She might still listen to others, but it might be on her terms and for a bigger cause.
In terms of her love life, the Cameron Kirsten plot gave Nick and Sharon a chance to come back together since they faced the same foe. They might be getting together again, but not right away. Despite being away from Sally during her miscarriage, Nick was the person she kept turning to for solace and support. Nick and Sally are currently dating. Nick is likely to be Sally’s go-to guy in the near future, especially now that she’s cut off from Adam and blames him for her sorrow.
What about Adam and Sharon? Adam will surely need someone to confide in after his recent heartbreaking loss. Sharon and Adam have always had a strong bond and love for one another despite all circumstances. Could this be the moment for Shada to come back together? Although some people may find their relationship shocking, it is not altogether unexpected for these two to reconnect. Their reunion might not happen soon, though, given Adam’s grieving process and Sharon’s desire to stop being a constant source of comfort.
Instead of reigniting old loves, Sharon may be open to new romantic prospects at this point because she is eager to live life to the fullest. Chance, Rey’s old partner, is one potential opponent. Although the age gap raises questions, a relationship with Chance might give Sharon the excitement and adventure she so desperately wants and unquestionably deserves. Chance might even think about quitting the police department, which would free them up to travel together in search of new experiences and horizons.
It’s also conceivable that Sharon’s upcoming journey has not yet been announced. The future presents countless opportunities for her after she has had time to grieve Rey’s passing and accept her role as a grandma.
