The cast of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS are more than prepared for the season, which officially began on June 21. The soap opera itself posted a brief video on social media with Brytni Sarpy (Elena) and Courtney Hope (Sally) playing a fast game of “Summer This or That!” after Lauralee Bell (Christine) released another one of her entertaining backstage films of her castmates having fun.
The two actresses begin near a blue curtain in the rear of the Y&R stage, and as they go towards the camera, two possibilities are superimposed on the footage. A catchy summer music is playing in the background. Sarpy and Hope then choose which by moving off-camera in that direction once they get to the camera.
When it came to making decisions about whether to spend the day at the beach or the pool and whether to create a summer reading list or summer playlist, the couple sided with one another, but they couldn’t agree on whether to have ice cream or popsicles!
