Home and Away Spoilers – It’s over! Theo stunned as Kirby dumps him

Next week on Home and Away in the UK, as an angry Kirby calls time on her relationship with Theo, Remi invites an old friend to Summer Bay.

Since guitarist Remi (Adam Rowland) unilaterally decided to cancel the band’s upcoming tour in order to compete in a Battle of the Bands competition, there has been considerable tension among the Lyrik band members.

Remi’s motivations were twofold. First, he believed it would be a great opportunity for the band—the top prize of $20,000 would go a long way towards funding their anticipated album—but it also meant he wouldn’t have to leave behind girlfriend Bree (Juliet Godwin), who has been having a difficult time adjusting to his frequent absences.

Kirby was surprised to learn that Eden and Theo (Matt Evans), who were voting on whether to proceed with Battle of the Bands or attempt and rebook their performances, were on Remi’s side in favour of taking part in the competition.

When Theo told Kirby that not everything was about her, she became upset. Kirby had expected her boyfriend Theo to vote with her, regardless of his own opinions on the topic (now who’s showing Bob tendencies?).

Kirby later agreed to follow through with Remi’s plan, although complaining to Eden that she and Theo don’t appear to be on the same page anymore.

Theo makes a mercy run back to Summer Bay when he learns of the most recent developments with Andrew (Joshua Hewson) as the tale picks up the following week. Kirby, Theo, and Remi are away at a gig monitoring the competition when this happens.

Theo had made it plain that Andrew was one of his top priorities at the time, so when Kirby awakens in the motel to discover Theo has left behind merely a note, she is not pleased.

Theo isn’t thinking about Kirby when Justin (James Stewart) fills him in on the issue; he feels bad about his role in it and decides to avoid her texts and calls all morning.

Later on in the day, after Theo finally responds Kirby’s calls, he finds out she’s back in Summer Bay and asks if they can meet up. “I believe we should speak,”

Theo is shocked by Kirby’s attitude, especially after learning that she is still angry with him for voting against her the week before. Theo decides he should spend the night at home rather than Kirby’s after Kirby advises him to “forget it” and then ignores him the remainder of her shift.

The following day, Kirby admits she had been on the warpath as they apologise to one another for how things turned out. While Kirby thinks she’ll get over it eventually, Theo isn’t so sure. Theo believes it all comes down to her trust in him.

When Theo then suggests that they should perhaps take a step back for a while, an enraged Kirby tells him not to bother—”We’re done!

It’s the one thing that both Remi and Eden were afraid of when Kirby and Theo got together… so with half of the band now doomed to be at loggerheads, what future is there for Lyrik?

Remi says to Bree that he is thinking of creative methods for Lyrik to stand out at the Battle of the Bands. He learned that they face tough opposition from the other band’s reconnaissance mission, if anything.

Remi resolves to get in touch with a classical violinist he knows in the city, Mercedes Da Silva (Amali Golden), clearly having not learned his lesson about discussing matters with the rest of the band first.

Remi is happy when Mercedes calls to say she’s up for it because she thinks she could elevate their performances. Bree argues that he ought to have asked the other people first, and Eden is furious when she subsequently notices a text from Mercedes arrive on Remi’s phone.

There is obviously more to Eden’s response than just not asking the other members of the band; there is a history between them, and Eden finds it incomprehensible that Remi would ignore “what she did.” Although Eden doesn’t like the thought of Mercedes joining them at all, Remi claims that it is ancient past.

The next morning, Theo meets a stranger as she roars up to the surf club on her motorbike—she’s looking for Remi.

Theo takes Mercedes over to the house where Remi immediately rushes over to give her a big hug.

Bree looks uneasy, could Mercedes’ history mean that she has something to worry about…?
