‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) won’t take anyone’s advice when it comes to her relationships. She is fiercely independent and knows what she wants. Even when others have warnings for her, she doesn’t want to hear them. Will this make her more vulnerable where Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is concerned?

While Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) seems to trust and believe in everything his daughter does, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) have been more distrusting.
Since learning that Victoria and Nate were sharing a bed, Nick Newman has been worried. Nate betrayed his family at Chancellor-Winters, he is aware of this. Nate also had an affair with Victoria while dating Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).
At Newman Enterprises, Nick has always had the impression that Nate wants more, and he thinks it’s all about the power. He has no faith in Nate’s aspirations. Victoria’s decision to replace Nick as COO with Nate justifies this action.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Worried for Victoria
Nikki worries for Nate and Victoria as well. Victoria (Richard Burgi) had a horrific encounter with Ashland Locke, and she has had trouble moving past it.
Since Nate is all about moving up the corporate ladder at any costs, Nikki is concerned that Victoria may be setting herself up for another similar circumstance.
Nikki seizes the chance to confront Nate and find out his motivations while Victoria is away. He acknowledges that he does not love Victoria. He also says that he imagines himself working beside her one day as she runs Newman Enterprises. It’s a wonderful thing that he is being sincere about his motives.
Nikki does warn him that if he treats Victoria well that they will be good friends, but if he hurts Victoria, Nikki will be his worst nightmare. When Victoria returns, she is not happy to find out that Nikki has been grilling Nate.
Victoria doesn’t appreciate her mother’s suggestions or her meddling. She is happy with how things are going in her life right now and with how Nate and her relationship are doing. Neither of them is seeking a more serious relationship.
Nikki regrets that Victoria is currently “settling” and wishes her daughter could find genuine love. What do you believe Nate and Victoria’s future holds? Will she develop feelings for him, and will he betray her?
