The former Home and Away star has given a very personal life update.

Sam Frost, a former Home and Away actress, recently updated her Instagram followers on her personal life.

After working out, the mother of one and engaged to reality TV personality Jordie Hansen posted a gym picture, but it wasn’t your typical pose-and-flex shot.

Sam captioned the image with an open admission while seeming sweaty and sporting a little smile.

She added, “First day back training since having my little boy,” referring to her son Ted, who was then a toddler.

“Before and during, my nervousness was peeeeaking (sic).

“But I did it, and I’m really proud of myself.”

Sam included the hashtag #celebratesmallwins in addition.

The podcaster, author, and actress has spoken candidly in the past about her struggles with depression and anxiety.

I’ve battled mental illness my entire life, she admitted in 2019.

“When I went on the radio, I spoke openly about my struggles.

“A lot of people were contacting me with similar experiences, and I take my responsibilities as a public figure with young girls looking up to me very seriously.

“I reasoned that this is the ideal time to establish a mental health hub where people may discover support systems and hear similar stories.

Some individuals “might be too scared and unsure of what to look for.”

Sam Frost co-founded Believe By Sam Frost with her sister Kristine as a “safe digital space” for persons dealing with mental health issues.

“Nobody talked about mental health 15 years ago,” Sam stated in a statement to The Morning Show, mentioning her mother’s battle with eating disorders.

“I was quite ashamed about it and felt embarrassed. But my mother is one of the most gorgeous and strong people,” she added.

“I’m certain that I could have been a lot more of a support for my mother if I had the vocabulary or the understanding surrounding mental health.

I genuinely feel like I let her down a lot since I couldn’t understand. I felt ashamed and refrained from talking about it.

We must make talking about mental health as commonplace as talking about a headache or a hurting back.

Since having a child, Sam has continued the discussion on mental health by frequently updating her followers with writings about the feelings associated with becoming a mother.

Sam uploaded a photo of herself resting on a bed with Theodore asleep next to her in an April post, not long after Theodore was born.

I’ve always felt like I had a huge hole in my heart, but I now believe that perhaps it was just waiting for you, she wrote.
