Recently, viewers of Coronation Street saw Ronnie and Ed Bailey start a business together, despite the fact that perilous temptations might endanger the family.

Ed Bailey (played by Trevor Michael Georges) of Coronation Street might go back into old habits as he works on his new business with brother Ronnie (Vinta Morgan).

Fans of the ITV soap opera have recently seen the couple working on a real estate development project.

But after talking to Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney), who pushed him to invest money in Newton and Ridley shares, Ronnie has been acting behind Ed’s back.

Despite insider deals being a crime, Ronnie accepted knowing the return would be enormous and may boost their business.

He tried to convince Henry Newton to accept the Waterfords’ offer when he spoke to him last week, knowing he would receive a sizable monetary return.

However, when Henry clarified that he had never mentioned Waterfords, he pressed Henry for the source of his inside information.

official reveals spoilers Next week, after revealing to Debbie that he screwed up and told Henry Newton he was aware of the Waterfords sale before it was made public, Ronnie falls into a frenzy.

Debbie reassures him that everything will be fine as she removes the contract’s image from her phone in an effort to calm him down.

Later, Ronnie offers Ed his personal credit card for the company account, signaling the commencement of their real estate endeavor.

Ed, who has had problems in the past, tries to hide his discomfort with having control over so much money when he receives the card.

In order to keep his wife Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) from learning what they are up to, Ronnie tells his brother that half of the money from the shares will be going into that account.

Ed informed Ronnie that he could trust him to handle the money responsibly while putting on a brave face.

Will temptation win, though, and cause Ed to revert to his old patterns?

Fans are aware that Ed once battled a serious gambling addiction and borrowed money from his family as a result.

After being forced to downsize from their previous house in Alderley Edge because Ed put them in debt, the Baileys moved to Weatherfield in 2019.

Will Ed’s gambling addiction gradually reemerge now that he has so much money?
