Spoilers and news about The Young and the Restless tease Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) might have a daughter named Claire Grace, who is played by Hayley Erin.
Claire may be using her mother’s maiden name as her last name because Kirsten formerly had a romantic involvement with Grace Turner (Jennifer Garies).
Spoilers for The Young and the Restless Sharon Rosales was friends with Grace Turner.
Sharon Case’s (Sharon Case) best friend in high school was Grace Turner, who subsequently assisted Sharon in finding Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) after Sharon married Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
But she also became close to Kirsten at one point, and since she was aware of the adoption procedure, she might have become pregnant with him and handed the child away.
Given the dialogue’s hints regarding Kirsten’s obsession with having a daughter with Sharon, this would make a lot of sense.
When he held Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) captive and strapped bombs to her down in the sewers, he discussed it.
He believed he could get rid of Nick and replace him as Faith’s father with Sharon, but as we all know, that didn’t happen.
Y & R Spoilers: Claire Grace, the Mysterious Newcomer
The fact that she bears the last name “Grace” might just be a coincidence, and even though nothing about her past has been made public, it’s possible that she was adopted and is now trying to find her birth parents.
If she had investigated and discovered her dad was Kirsten, using Grace as her last name would make a lot of sense. Grace could also be her own middle name.
Regarding Grace Turner, she discovered a recently arrived Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) was Cassie’s twin and assisted in Kirsten’s conviction and imprisonment.
It’s odd that Claire would travel to Genoa City if she knew who her father was but hadn’t located her mother, who works for a Newman subsidiary in New York City.
Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Claire Grace may not know much.
If Claire is Cameron Kirsten and Grace Turner’s child, she may not know anything about them beyond what she learned from an internet DNA match search.
Claire had the option of using one of the many internet genealogy services where one can send DNA to find family relations.
She might not be familiar with the background of her biological father, but she might have found a news article about Sharon and the business Kirsten left for her.
It makes reasonable that she would begin her search with a person who knew her father, but she might not be aware that Sharon also knew her mother.
She might not want to terrify Sharon and Nick either, especially if she discovered her father’s criminal history online, which is another option.
