In Coronation Street, Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) has been primarily concerned with getting to know and supporting Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney), but he hasn’t given Fiz Stape’s (Jennie McAlpine) viewpoint on welcoming a recovering drug addict into their home enough thought.

Fiz is currently employed in Norwich after receiving a job offer with a very nice salary. Actually, the departure took place during Jennie McAlpine’s maternity leave.

After problems with Cassie, Tyrone is given the onerous responsibility of speaking with Fiz. After spending months in recovery, the newcomer came into Tyrone’s life a few weeks ago and claimed that she is his biological mother. She was certain that she could start again without drugs.

Sadly, it wasn’t the case because Cassie overdosed on drugs again and had to be taken to the hospital in recent episodes of the ITV soap opera.

In the next scene, Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) advises Tyrone to call Fiz and inform her that Hope (Isabella Flanagan) discovered Cassie after she overdosed.

Tyrone is then forewarned by Evelyn, who threatens to tell Fiz if he doesn’t.

But how will she respond?

Given that Jennie McAlpine has now given birth to her child, Fiz will ultimately return to Weatherfield. How will she get along with her future mother-in-law when she does?

Alan Halsall remarked, “He’s really trying to have an open mind and open heart.”

But he also has Evelyn’s caution and guidance in the back of his mind, which makes him a little curious even if he wants it to succeed.

I believe that is the issue; it is less about what he believes than what he desires. He is willing to ignore things because he kind of needs it or wants it to work so much, and he truly wants it to work more than anything.
