Monday September 18
For their stag do, Summer gives Billy and Paul a polaroid camera and informs them that cell phones are not permitted. Paul is ecstatic. Billy is surprised by the glitter and rainbows when they enter the cafe, but Paul adores them.
Billy begins to unwind as Gemma takes the reins of the drinking games.
While Bernie is busy, the police arrive at No. 7 and ask her to speak with them about a possible fraud probe involving Shelly Rothington.
At the station, Bernie presents herself as merely assisting a young MND patient by gathering a few packages for her. But Bernie is in for a shock from the police, and Paul is in disbelief.
When Neil, their site manager, suggests they wager on when the digger will arrive, Ed struggles. The guys congregate in the Rovers to watch the game. Ed is strongly tempted when Neil recommends they have a flutter.
Aadi offers to Courtney that she contribute to the home expenses at Dev’s request. Courtney is coy.
George makes rude comments about RestEasy as Todd prepares for work. Todd fakes a smile while privately dreading the moment Troy informs him he’s promised a client a service they can’t provide and he’d like him to break the terrible news.
A subscriber to O-Vidz sends Ryan a message offering to pay more for a live video.
Wednesday September 20
Ed apologizes to Neil for his rudeness and admits that he formerly had a gambling addiction. Dee-Dee persuades Ronnie to sign some paperwork in the solicitor’s office and warns him that it’s risky to start construction before the sale is finalized.
Ed, who has been observing the digger driver’s worried expression, rushes over. When Ronnie arrives at the construction site, he finds Ed conversing with a uniformed Craig. Ronnie looks down into the hole where the gravedigger found a body!
Ryan is reluctant when Carla tells him that his first shift at Underworld is about to begin.Ryan begins to pack but stops as a message appears on his O-Vidz from a man asking for a personal film. Ryan then quickly runs to the bathroom to send the man some nude pictures.
Ryan makes a choice, though, after hearing that they just want a live video and will pay £500 in response to his message.
Paul asks Todd to remain quiet about his assisted dying plan after confiding in him. Mary encourages Todd to speak with George when he acknowledges that RestEasy isn’t right for him. Todd goes to beg George for his previous position back.
Tim exacts revenge on Steve for leaving his phone unattended while Steve badgers Tim over his lack of fitness. As they arrive home from Paris, Stephen and Jenny are deeply in love.
Friday September 22
a romantic Jenny advises Stephen to relocate to the bar. Stephen arrives to work feeling happy, but as soon as he learns that a body has been discovered on Ed and Ronnie’s construction site, his disposition quickly deteriorates.
In order to hide his internal agony, Stephen pretends to have a migraine. Stephen presses Ed for further information once they are back at the bar.
Stephen’s heart breaks as Ed says that the body was unquestionably that of a man. Jenny is informed that the dead is Leo’s by a uniformed Craig who calls at the bar.Jenny gasps in disbelief. Is Stephen’s game over?
Ryan assures Peter that his workout videos are starting to pay off as he worries what he would do with the money.
As the stakes rose, a nervous Ryan accepts a call and engages in a lewd conversation with the person who messaged him.
Peter overhears and informs Carla that since he overheard Ryan having phone sex, it makes sense that he spends so much time in his room. Uneasy from listening, Daisy approaches Ryan and inquires as to what is going on.
Dee-Dee announces the investor’s withdrawal from the construction project.
Ed is certain that it is too late to back out, and Ronnie believes they should cut their losses. Ed watches the horse races alone, his heart racing.
Todd and George’s relationship is strained as it becomes apparent that Lee is unqualified for the position but neither one wants to recognize it.
Paul discusses Shelly’s funeral plans with George and reveals that he has written some tributes to Shelly that he would like buried with her body.
