General Hospital Spoilers: Jake Spencer And Charlotte Cassadine Childhood Romance?
Since Charlotte attended the same third-grade class as Jake’s brother Aiden Spencer (Enzo DeAngelis), it is certain that they knew each other or of each other in school. When they first met, Charlotte and Aiden got into a fight because Charlotte was a bit of an entitled brat. Considering how entitled Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was as a youngster, this is understandable. Valentin doesn’t mind Jake because he saw Jake, Charlotte, and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Selzer) performing a magic trick with the Chimera at a Nurses’ Ball and it saved his life. Valentin doesn’t agree that Charlotte is old enough for boys in her life because Jake is a few years older.
GH Spoilers: What Does Sam McCall Think?
Although Valentin doesn’t really care what Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), his half-niece, thinks, he does believe that their Cassadine ties might be advantageous in this situation. Sam has a daughter; does she believe that Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante), who is only fourteen, would be old enough to date, particularly an older boy? Sam makes the wise decision to stay out of this dispute between Valentin and Dante because she doesn’t want to start a family fight. She acknowledges that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) might disagree with Valentin’s views if she were awake, but she cannot presume to speak for what Lulu would think. It’s inevitable that Valentin and Lulu will disagree on many parenting decisions involving Charlotte should she ever awaken from her coma.
General Hospital Spoilers: Is a Chaperone Necessary?
Given that he served as Charlotte’s stepfather during the time that Dante and Lulu were married, as well as the fact that Dante doesn’t like Valentin, Dante believes that Valentin is acting ridiculously. Sam is able to add a female perspective to the heated debate by recalling her teenage years, even though her life wasn’t exactly typical. Sam believes Charlotte wouldn’t like it and wouldn’t react well if Valentin insisted on a chaperone while Charlotte and Jake were together.
Even detective Dante, who believes Charlotte has a sound mind, wouldn’t spy on her with a boy if he were her real father. She hasn’t snuck out to see Jake or anything like that; Valentin is a suspicious father. He and Sam have always known where she was.
