Michael from General Hospital has recently experienced success thanks to the birth of a daughter and Willow’s improved health. And thanks to the extremely important milestone he’s reached, actor Chad Duell is also winning.
Happy Birthday, Chad Duell
And the reason for that is that this fan favorite, who was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 14, 1987, is celebrating his 36th birthday today! Duell studied at Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he discovered his love for acting in a theater class. He made the decision that in order to pursue his acting career, he would have to move to California.
Duell obtained two (minor) recurring parts on Disney Channel sitcoms Ronald Longcape Jr. (Wizards of Waverly Place) and Holden (The Suite Life on Deck) after moving to Los Angeles.
Duell replaced Drew Garrett as Michael on General Hospital in 2010. Chad Duell has been recognized for his work with six Daytime Emmy nominations and one win, for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2015, after Michael discovered that his adoptive father had brutally murdered his biological father.
Other acting credits for Duell include a regular part in the third season of the web series The Bay, cameo roles in the made-for-TV thrillers Lethal Admirer and Arrow, and guest spots on both shows.
Duell practices martial arts every day and follows a strict fitness regimen in his personal life. Along with that, he welcomed Dawson into the world with girlfriend Luana Lucci.
