Ellie Leach of Strictly Come Dancing has already sustained an injury just days before her first live performance and has made her fans aware of it publicly.

Ellie Leach of Strictly Come Dancing has already suffered a minor injury just days before her scheduled live performance with professional partner Vito Coppola.

The actress from Coronation Street shared a photo of her foot on Instagram with a bright pink plaster covering her largest toe with the comment “Thumbs up from me.”

All 15 celebrity participants have been matched with their professional partners for the 2023 series, which just got underway with a glittering opening show over the weekend.

Ellie is not the first famous person to get hurt while practicing.

Zara McDermott, a Love Island star, confessed that she had hurt her foot just a few days before the launch program.

To give her feet a break from the painful dance shoes, she was seen walking around in a pair of black flip-flops.

Zara claimed that her big toe had “seen better days”.

Additionally, Sherlock actress Amanda Abbington posted pictures of a blood blister on her Instagram account.

“Dancing in heels, when you absolutely aren’t a dancer, is clearly a blister minefield but, moreover, very much a young man’s game… however, onwards,” she advised her fans.

“Come back tomorrow for more mischief!”

Not only the famous dancers have recently sustained injuries.

Just days before the premiere of the new season, head judge Shirely Ballas of Strictly came into contact with a grisly accident when she cut her thumb.

On Instagram, she wrote: “Juicing today and look at what I did. I almost cut off my thumb with this sharp instrument. When cleaning up after yourself and juicing, be careful.

Shirley added that Audrey, her mother, had assisted in dressing up her thumb.
