Is this the end for Home and Away fan favourite Justin?

James Stewart: “Justin is breathing some of what he thinks are his last breaths”

Remarkably! The notorious cult Vita Nova from Home and Away is set to strike once more, and James Stewart’s character, Justin, who is a fan favorite, may be the next casualty.

Speaking to Mediaweek before to the triple episode airing on September 28, Stewart acknowledged that the earlier plot point in which he “saved the day” by assisting in Andrew Lawrence’s (Joshua Hewson) removal from the fictional gang was the source of the “double kidnapping.”

Regarding the incident, he exclaimed, “Now the cult comes back, nabs us, tricks us, takes us away and locks us up!”

Naturally, Justin and Leah (Ada Nicodemou), the couple whom everyone adores, are the “us” Stewart is alluding to. Also, their weekend excursion turns potentially lethal in the feature-length installment, putting their lives in jeopardy.

He remarked, “It’s roughly three days without food, water, plumbing, light, or air.” “Justin attempts to rescue them by climbing through the roof, but he falls quite a distance. He is immobile due to a severe injury. It’s a big fall, because he’s practically at the edge of death. Additionally, tonight’s show will feature Justin breathing what he believes to be his final breaths, which I think our head writer has done very nicely.

James Stewart on Leah’s proposal

Fans of the show have been asking whether the on-screen couple will ever get married, and their relationship has been a much-welcome addition to the long-running soap opera. And even though catastrophe has befallen them, it appears that Leah’s proposal to her boyfriend would provide them their wish at last. Will he, however, survive long enough to reach the altar?

He said, “You know us actors, we love to do something dramatic.” It was therefore extremely difficult for us to read, perform, and photograph. It was such a straightforward romantic moment that you didn’t really need to practice it. It was quite magical, as well as gloomy, dark, and filthy—all the things Ada dislikes!

“To kind of bring characters back together for each other, you kind of have to take them away from each other,” he said. Because it just becomes something you wouldn’t want to tune into if you can’t generate any drama.

Throughout the course of Justin and Leah’s romance, Justin has proposed to his girlfriend multiple times. Leah, who has been married five times on the show, has said that they don’t need to be married in order to be happy.

“That is precisely half of Australia,” he remarked. Half of the couples that are together probably don’t need to be married, while the other half do. Therefore, it was OK for us to raise our hands as the pair that didn’t have to do it.

Confronted with his impending departure, Leah determines that this is the ideal moment to declare her desire to tie the knot – a very fitting decision for a girl whose three prior marriages ended tragically during the course of the show.

“[Previously], Justin sat her down and said, ‘Right.'” As of right now, two of your husbands have absconded and three of them have passed away. He asked, “What’s going on there?” “I was lying on the floor a few times when we were up at Taree [where the scenes involving the kidnapping were filmed]. And when she declines in those last takes, saying, “Justin, will you marry me?” I wanted to respond, “But all your husbands die!” “You are the Widow from Black!”

We were fortunate that Stewart insisted, “It really was a beautiful moment,” despite the fact that that would have been an amusing sequence of events.

“I must admit that Ada is the reason this wonderful moment exists. She performed really exceptionally well. There, she went. It’s difficult to surprise me after working with someone for three or four years, but she really delved deep.

And to the query, will Justin make it out alive? All you can do is wait and see!
