General Hospital Spoilers: A Night At The Savoy
Despite not having finished his song of the Siren, Eddie sounds as though this is his Savoy concert appearance; Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) was impressed.
Although Marshall is a man of his word, the show must go on whether or not that song is finished. Even though she misses him as Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), Olivia is cheering him on and she is beginning to like this Eddie despite the fact that she is in the audience.
Eddie benefits from sensing Olivia’s acceptance as she begins to accept him for who he is. He is also appreciative of Amanda Setton’s (Brook Lynn Quartermaine) acceptance.
GH Spoilers: If She Can’t Beat Him, Join Him!
By acknowledging that Ned might never return and that Eddie might be the only way she can have him, Olivia may be coming to the conclusion that if she can’t beat him, she should join him. They are beginning to let their guards down around each other as Eddie starts to open up to her.
Eddie is very happy that Olivia enjoys his music and is supporting him by watching and listening to him on this important night.
Who knows, maybe this is the night that Eddie will finally recognize the Siren’s face on stage at the Savoy and understand who is beckoning him! Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda), who Eddie refers to as the “kid,” is beginning to grow on him as well; both Leo and Eddie sort of get each other.
Eddie can’t even imagine that he was ever the successful businessman that Ned was, but perhaps he was in a previous existence.
General Hospital Spoilers: Is The Siren He Seeks Olivia Quartermaine?
On stage, Eddie doesn’t quite finish the entire Siren song, but it begins to sink in that Olivia might be the Siren he’s looking for.
They share a passionate moment in a hug that develops into an embrace as he exits the stage following a triumphant performance and a standing ovation.
The Siren might stand in for his previous life as Ned as well as his ostensibly suppressed memories of that life, but for the time being he feels at home.
Olivia is now accepting that Ned might not find his way out of the shadowy depths of his memories, even though she hopes and prays with every breath that he does. She needs to develop the love and acceptance necessary to get along with Eddie.
