According to teasers from The Young and the Restless, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) believed he could simply take advantage of Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) reputation.

However, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), the ostensibly estranged husband of Ashley Abbott McCall (Eileen Davidson), might not be biting the hand that feeds him. Contrary to what Tucker said, Billy did not pilfer a sizable chunk of money from Jabot’s account.

The plan is undermined by the information Jack recently got from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and by Billy’s two encounters with Tucker and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) at the Genoa City Athletic Club.

Highlights from The Young and the Restless Spoilers

It’s possible that Tucker planned to kidnap Jabot from the start. What his exact strategy may have been is difficult to ascertain.

Tucker has previously promised Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) a returned, crucial position with him, so viewers know he is confident in the outcome. Without McCall Unlimited, St. John’s character yearns to rejoin the action.

Tucker is obviously irritated, reverting to his sly personality type. The audience witnessed him leave a passionate note for Ashley in his GCAC suite before watching him look for an explanation. This seemed to confirm their separation.

Spoilers for Y&R: Billy Abbott is a simple target.

The genius Tucker imagines himself to be is not real. Why, for instance, would he make a great deal out of finding himself in a remote part of the world just to undo the self-improvement he had done?

The answer to the previous query involves restraint. His character defect is that he lacks it.

Ashley’s reservations were driven by instinct. She is the only person who truly knows him. Ashley is the only member of this group, along with Tucker’s late mother Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and his son Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

So it makes sense that Tucker had little trouble getting Phyllis to hack into Billy’s and Jabot’s bank accounts in order to stage an embezzlement.

It connects to Billy’s previous unsuccessful attempt to take over Jabot when, among other things, he bought Jaboat, which will always rank as one of the funnier lines of speech.

Spoilers for The Young and the Restless: Jack Abbott Has Some Good Advice

Jack has experienced numerous turns around the block. Because of that knowledge, he is aware that Tucker is most likely the bad guy in this circumstance.

Billy begs his brother to consider whether what seems to be a betrayal is actually a trap. As part of his strategy to bring Jabot on Y&R, Tucker intends to set the Abbott family against one another.
