Fans have been demanding scenes with Kurth and Sofer and are speculating as to whether Lois’s resurgence on the screen will cause problems for Ned and Ned’s marriage.
The intriguing relationship between Ned and Lois is well known to longtime fans. Ned and Lois first connected at a bar where “Eddie Maine” was playing. When their eyes connected, that was it.
They began dating covertly and eventually got hitched. Ned was coerced into marrying Katharine Bell (Mary Beth Evans), though. Lois was outraged when she learned of Ned’s treachery.
“Happy Birthday Mrs. Ned Ashton from the other Mrs. Ned Ashton!” she shouted as she leaped out of the cake at Katharine’s birthday celebration. All bets were off when she gave Katharine their marriage license.
She revealed Ned to be the rock star Eddie Maine. Ned and Katharine divorced. After much pleading, groveling, and persistent persuasion on Ned’s part, Lois and Ned finally reconciled and the two of them got back together.
Years later, when Ned and Lois were having marital difficulties as a result of his obsession with ELQ and his career, Lois forced him to pick between the two of them, and he decided on the family business.
Brook Lynn, the daughter of Lois and Ned, was born after she moved back to Brooklyn.

Because Tracy, Brook Lynn’s grandmother, blackmailed her, Brook Lynn is currently in trouble. She lost Maxie Jones (Kiersten Storms), her best friend, and was let go from Deception. The one person she needs to get through this is missing.
She needs a supportive parent to lead the way and reconnect her with her roots. Because of his commitment to his guitar and music, Ned is unable to assist her, but Lois might be able to offer some helpful counsel to her troubled daughter.
