Gladys Corbin from General Hospital is about to receive justice for her crimes, but she is out of luck. Will she, however, forfeit her life? On the ABC soap opera, greedy Gladys’ demise might be imminent.
General Hospital: Gladys Corbin Goes Too Far
On General Hospital, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) recently picked up gambling once more. At The Savoy, she joined Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) high-stakes poker games, and soon found herself in over her head.
So she began robbing her widowed daughter-in-law Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) of her money. Without telling Sasha, she even sold Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage. When Sasha wanted to terminate her guardianship, things on General Hospital then got worse.
Gladys began to worry because she was unsure of how she would pay Selina back. Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) entered the scene at that point. Additionally, he bets on Selina’s behalf and agreed to assist Gladys in maintaining the guardianship.
She obviously had no idea how insane Montague is or how far he will go. She also didn’t ask, though. She was only concerned with maintaining the cash flow. The truth about Gladys is now known thanks to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), and her worst nightmare is now becoming a reality.
Sonny Corinthos at His Limit on GH
Gladys is known to be afraid of her criminal cousin Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Although he has never liked Gladys, he tolerates her out of respect for both Brando and his father Mike Corbin (Max Gail).
Then, after Brandon passed away, Sonny believed she had improved. She did for a moment before quickly resuming her greedy behavior. On General Hospital, Sonny is done with Gladys because he knows everything at this point.
She is dead meat in Sonny’s eyes because he is adamant that she will pay for harming Sasha. He has, of course, become a little softer lately. Additionally, he might decide that sending her to prison would be a better punishment.
But he’s given her so many opportunities that he might as well get rid of her for good. These might be Gladys Corbin’s last moments on General Hospital, regardless of whether she ends up dead or in jail.
Is Gladys Leaving General Hospital?
Gladys’ tenure on GH might be coming to an end soon. She appears to have lost all hope of changing after repeatedly betraying Sasha. She had the option of turning herself in, but instead she chose to report Sasha to the police and send her back to Ferncliff.
She then prepared to flee the area and leave Sasha because she knew Montague was still looking for her. On General Hospital, it does appear as though he wants to murder Sasha. Gladys is still willing to leave her, too. So it appears there is no turning back because she will never be forgiven.
And the Gladys actress assures GH viewers that they will be pleased with the character’s outcome. She might therefore soon be sent to Pentonville or land in the Pine Barrens. Keep an eye on the ABC soap opera to find out if Gladys Corbin’s time is up.
