Dana has been in a dramatic storyline since her debut.
We’ll soon get to witness a new side of Ally Harris’ character Dana Matheson on Home and Away, she has vowed.
Jessica Redmayne, who plays Dana’s sister Harper, and Harris made their acting debuts on the Australian serial opera earlier this year.
It soon became clear that Dana was on the run from the cops after her ex-boyfriend Ollie falsely accused her of stealing drugs from the hospital where she worked.
Because Dana is a longtime friend of constable Cash Newman, who they thought would be able to assist them, the sisters had escaped to Summer Bay.
In an interview with Stuff.nz, Harris stated that while her first plot was dark, she has more humorous material coming up.
One of the directors likened it to being like a repertory theater company where, rather than performing different plays and portraying various characters, it’s more like you stick with Hamlet but in other genres, Harris said.
It’s quite thrilling. I initially appeared on the program doing something akin to a crime, but now it’s moving toward humor and other such things. And just seeing the same individual in various situations is so entertaining.
