leaks of General Hospital spoilers Even though Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) can’t enter Port Charles without being apprehended by the PCPD, his plan to exact revenge on Ava Jerome (Maura West) isn’t doomed to failure.
Fans assumed Nikolas would have to give up and leave Ava to believe he was dead after leaving for Europe. Plus, he’d have to leave her with the impression that she triumphed and had the last laugh.
On the contrary, Nikolas wants to rob Ava of everything he promised, including their relationship with Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola), her daughter.
Due to his current status as a wanted person in the United States, he simply has a new method of operation. Nikolas could be on the way
General Hospital Spoilers — Mason, the Independent Contractor
When Mason Gatlin (Nathaniel Grey) recently traveled to Pentonville to meet with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), we knew something wasn’t quite right. Even though Cyrus gave the order to more-or-less dispose of Ava, he came off as being far too casual, and there was no indication that there would be any sort of follow-up.
Mason didn’t appear to be returning to the jail to follow Cyrus’s orders. In fact, it appears that he was prepared to light a match and end his friendship with the man completely.
It’s an interesting switch of roles after Mason insisted Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) couldn’t just up and leave their boss whenever he felt like it over the previous year.
GH Spoilers Claim Ava Won’t Know Her Captor For Some Time
Perhaps Mason does like Ava after all. He might be seeking some form of game control because he is sick of playing the lackey. He might simply be a coward who doesn’t want to enrage Nikolas or Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
In either case, it is most logical that Mason did not murder Ava. Nevertheless, he won’t stop Cyrus from believing he did. She will still be alive and being held hostage by her own evil Cassadine ex-husband in the interim.
That ought to do the trick and cut her off from Avery in a way she never anticipated. But will Ava immediately realize that Nikolas is holding her, or might he let her think it has something to do with Mason and his boss at home if he doesn’t tell her right away?
General Hospital Spoilers — Who Rescues Ava?
It’s clear that GH and we both can’t handle losing someone as important as Ava. No, there hasn’t been any talk about her leaving.
Wherever she is, Maura West appears to be content. That doesn’t mean we won’t miss her for a while, though. With a woman being held captive, writers are limited in what they can do. It would make sense that the plot would resemble others we’ve seen, particularly those involving Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
This also explains why Laura, who is already looking for her son, might be the one to discover the truth and save Ava in the end. Although her ex-daughter-in-law attempted to murder her son, we have faith that Laura will act morally.
But how far has that apple still not fallen from the tree, and will she be able to face the truth about her oh-so-Cassadine son?
With Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) ready to take on Laura’s unwavering compassion and willingness to give her son the benefit of the doubt despite the fact that the truth paints him as just as Cassadine as his forebears, it appears that we are now getting some foreshadowing about that.
