It looks like Paul Robinson, the bad boy of the neighbourhood, may have finally won his battles with Lassiters investor Reece Sinclair.
Paul has been dutifully obeying directions from the no-nonsense Reece, whose family now holds a significant portion of Lassiters, for the past few weeks.
At the very end of Monday’s episode, Paul finally found out what Reece had been keeping from him, and it seemed like everything might change.
Reece has been having a passionate affair with hotel employee Byron Stone ever since they moved to Erinsborough.
Since the two have kept their connection a secret, Byron has been able to tell Reece ninja details about Paul’s attempts to outsmart her.
In the episode airing on Monday, Reece and Byron indulged in temptation while on hotel property once more, sharing a passionate kiss in one of the Lassiters’ elevators.
Paul was shocked to see what had been happening behind closed doors when he saw the video.
In future episodes, Paul will undoubtedly make use of the knowledge to his advantage in an effort to take advantage of every chance to get the upper hand over Reece.
Fans can expect a tense showdown between Paul and Byron, as teased in Monday’s end-of-episode preview.
When Paul makes a calculated move, there are major consequences at Lassiters and Byron is forced to confront his past.
