If GH rumors followed a formulaic, cliched course, Trina and Spencer’s romantic evening in New York City would immediately result in pregnancy. On the one hand, this might cause Spencer to shift his attention away from his obsession with his younger brother and toward having his own child. But do these two young people actually require that at this time in their lives?
GH Spoilers Speculation: Don’t Go There
The overwhelming answer is no, not at all. Let’s begin by stating the obvious: Because he’s wealthy and wants what he wants—and isn’t that just how life is—Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) may be an entitled, spoiled brat who just assumes the world will turn out the way he wants it to. However, Trina (Tabyana Ali) is not only more composed, but also significantly smarter. Trina is aware of issues like birth control, which the majority of Port Charles residents appear to be completely ignorant of. Other than that, why would Sonny (Maurice Benard) have so many kids?
General Hospital:Â Not Here, Not Now
Beyond the fact that they are both aware of how babies are created, the main reason Trina and Spencer should not become pregnant at this time is that their relationship is still young. Just sex took place. They are still getting acquainted. They are relishing their youth, infatuation, and carefree state.
GH Spoilers:Â Plenty Where That Came From
But they’re far from carefree. They already face many challenges. Mother of Trina is there. Spencer is hated by Portia (Brook Kerr), who wishes she could separate the two. There’s Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl), Spencer’s ex-girlfriend. Spencer may not have been the father of the child, but he treats Ace as if he is.
which is already diverting Trina’s attention. It’s not a good idea to fight baby with baby. And it’s really beneath Trina. She is a talented young woman who has a bright future ahead of her (Portia is correct in this assumption). Even with a wealthy father, having a child right now would only slow her down and tie her permanently to Spencer for the wrong reasons.
