In ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers, there are some interesting truths and skills that are stretched in order to help Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and save Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but that is standard practice.
Carly always manages to get her way, and with the aid of Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), they were able to set up a trap where they could lure the judge who sentenced Drew to prison and threaten to publicly discredit him.
They anticipate that either the judge will give in to their pressure and overturn his ruling, or that a different judge will hear about him, accept the appeal, and modify the sentence.
Despite the fact that neither should and wouldn’t occur outside of a soap opera, it still does so frequently.
However, this opens up a different scenario, and that’s where Carly and even Alexis find themselves in difficulty.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly’s behind bars
It would be most realistic and dramatic for the show if the judge made it a habit to record his visits to make sure nothing suspicious was going on, or if he brought along a helper or someone to keep track.
It’s not something we typically see, but given the circumstances and the judge’s extreme egotism, it makes sense that he would want his own people present to record the proceedings.
According to ‘General Hospital’ spoilers, if Alexis or Carly push too hard, which Carly frequently does, he might decide to accuse them of attempting to blackmail him, and things will only get worse from there.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Where she belongs
It won’t be popular to say this, but Carly should be imprisoned for insider trading. She completed the task. She is aware of it, she acknowledges it, and thanks to Drew’s self-immolation, she escaped punishment.
He also pulled a garbage human being stunt by giving up years with his child for Carly and even making the offer to give Carly the financial future of his child in exchange for her helping to pay his bills.
Seriously. And nobody else on the show had a problem with any of that except Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco)? Even so, Sam eventually changed his mind because Carly always gets her way, which is a major flaw on the writers’ part.
When Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) calls to inquire about finding out who turned Carly in, there’s a chance that he’ll learn that Carly was involved in the incident and that he’s wanted as Drew’s partner.
If the writers chose the easy route, we would likely miss out on all the awesome drama that would result from seeing everyone brought to their knees and forced to fight for their lives.
Do you think the judge should go the easy route or try to catch Carly and Alexis in the act of blackmailing him? Please share your thoughts in the comments section and return to “General Hospital” Spoilers for the most recent news, rumors, and spoilers.
