According to reports, Kate Ritchie and her boyfriend Chevy Black have called it quits.
Nine months after they became official on Instagram, the 45-year-old Nova FM radio personality and Black called it quits, a radio insider told Daily Mail Australia.
After making frequent public shows of affection while out and about in Coogee, the couple has not been seen together in months.
Additionally, a highly clear sign that their relationship is finished was provided to New Idea magazine by a source.
The insider told the magazine, “It seems like he doesn’t have any reason to keep his life hidden anymore.”
Until recently, Chevy preferred to keep his life under wraps, with his social media set to private. He has now changed to a public Instagram profile,’ they added.
Ritchie recently fueled breakup rumours by sharing a reflective post to Instagram which captured her living her best life with a girlfriend, and no mention of Black.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to both Ritchie and Black for comment.Â
Following their February dating debut, the couple appeared to be becoming closer until recently.
In August, Kate introduced Chevy to her mother Heather and daughter Mae, taking their romance to the next level.
Early in February, the pair was seen together for the first time on a romantic picnic.
Following her breakup with her ex-boyfriend John Bell and her dramatic alcoholism treatment stay, Kate entered into the relationship.
Before it was made public that she was receiving treatment at a prestigious Sydney rehab facility, Kate declared in October of last year that she was leaving the Kate, Tim, and Joel show.
She claimed in a statement in December that the previous year had been difficult and stressful, which had resulted in a “unhealthy reliance on alcohol.”
