Following Kim Kardashian’s announcement last week as the Man of the Year in GQ magazine, Lincoln Younes had some harsh words for her.
The 31-year-old former star of Home and Away had conflicting emotions over the American socialite receiving the highest honor from a US men’s fashion magazine.
He told The Daily Telegraph, “I really think that naming a woman as man of the year is really progressive and a great thing.”
However, I’m not sure how I feel about Kim. There are certain other women, I believe, that I would prioritize.
GQ Australia named Dylan Alcott, DJ Fisher, Baz Luhrmann, Russell Crowe, Murray Bartlett, and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese as their joint MOTY for the previous year.
Younes, meantime, is rumored to be a candidate this year due to his contribution to the highly regarded miniseries Last King of the Cross.
Kim confused fans last week when she appeared on the cover of GQ’s Men of the Year issue.
One of the three cover stars of the US edition, the 43-year-old reality star honored a number of individuals who have influenced fashion, entertainment, sports, and society in 2023.
After introducing Skims menswear, Kim was named Tycoon of the Year. For the cover spread, she appeared in an androgynous suit and tie and shared on Instagram: Hey! The GQ Man of the Year is me!
She follows in the footsteps of Rihanna, Scarlett Johansson, Megan Thee Stallion, Jennifer Lopez, and Jennifer Aniston as the other female covers of the yearly edition.
Younes, meantime, is becoming more and more famous. He recently paid a cool $925,000 for a stylish flat in Bondi.
Nestled between lively Bondi Junction and Sydney’s famed Bondi Beach, this luxurious two-bedroom house features an elegant 1930s Art Deco style.
Part of a 12-unit low-rise, this superb property was previously listed with Ray White Woollahra Paddington but was not successful in finding a buyer.
But Younes noticed it when it was recently posted with Ray White Eastern Beaches Coogee, and within a week, it was snapped up.
