Spoilers for General Hospital hint that Michael Easton’s character, Dr. Hamilton Finn, appears to have made his home in Port Charles and has many reasons to stick around.
His relationship with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) appears to be stable, and he has family in the area.
However, all it takes is one terrible day to turn everything around, and that day may arrive sooner than anyone thinks. Could Finn, though, really leave it all behind?
General Hospital Spoilers – Gregory Chase is dying!
Viewers are aware that Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) suffers from ALS, and that his health has been declining for some months. Given that there is no known treatment, Finn’s father will eventually pass away.
Furthermore, Josh Swickard’s character, Harrison Chase, the younger brother of Finn, is set to wed Amanda Setton’s character, Brook Lynn Quartermain. Everything around Finn is going to be changing rather quickly, so he could feel it’s time for him to make some changes as well.
GH Spoilers – Hamilton Finn is restless!
Elizabeth just heard Finn confess that he missed working with Doctors Without Borders. As Gregory’s passing draws near and Chase prepares to go on a new journey,
Finn might think he needs to make a personal adjustment. Although Elizabeth appears to be content with Finn, her focus might soon be drawn elsewhere since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has returned to the city.
Finn might not have even intended to leave permanently at first; he might have just said he needed a vacation from everything going on in Port Charles.
General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn is having trouble dealing with his father’s illness!
Finn is already finding it difficult to handle Gregory’s decline. Gregory wants to take charge and support his father, but he is clinging to what little freedom he still has.
Finn wants to intervene and save the day because he is a doctor. However, it’s just not feasible in this instance.
Maybe Finn needs to work with Doctors Without Borders for a while to feel like he’s fulfilling his medical career goals. Elizabeth’s life is considerably more intertwined with Port Charles than Finn’s, even if he may invite her to accompany him.
