General Hospital spoilers and updates tease a newly mobile Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has a business proposition for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Might Curtis think about him and Drew private-eyeing together again like they did before the Savoy and Aurora Media?
General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis Ashford And Drew Cain Were Partners
Prior to Curtis considering owning a club and before Drew and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) established Aurora Media, Curtis and Drew collaborated on private investigation projects.
Although Curtis and Drew investigated a few cases together, Curtis was officially Sam’s detective partner at the time. Their relationship was successful.
With his background in investigative work, Drew would occasionally take on the more difficult and hazardous cases, ensuring that Sam was always there to assist Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
Curtis might now be interested in finishing the hunt that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) began for the person whose bullet struck him.
However, the FBI quickly intervened and detained her for tampering with their investigation; maybe he and Drew ought to conduct independent research?
GH Spoilers: Or, Perhaps Not, He May Just Want To Get Back Into Detective Work
Or maybe not—Curtis can always choose someone else to manage the Savoy, just as Drew can delegate day-to-day operations at Aurora to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
While working as private investigators, Drew and Curtis did enjoy some fun times together, and Drew has unique knowledge about Curtis.
In addition to Drew, Curtis also has some knowledge of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), having known him since the days when Drew and the rest of the world mistakenly believed he was Jason!
Though Drew won’t likely be interested in that, it’s possible that Curtis wants to take advantage of Drew’s recollections of Jason; perhaps he simply misses working as a detective, cracking cases, and solving riddles.
General Hospital Spoilers: Oh Rats!
Drew is aware of Curtis’s terrifying fear of rats—a secret the macho man Curtis wouldn’t want to share!
Drew made fun of Curtis when they had to trash dive behind a shop once to get to a case, and Curtis was unable to get close to it.
Maybe he should brush up on his shooting technique as Curtis was too terrified to even reach for a gun when he might have even sneaked up on him and tickled him.
Curtis can probably locate him some rats to use as target practice if he wants to reunite with Drew for investigative work!
Now that Curtis is walking and has conquered his worry of never being able to walk again, perhaps it’s time to get over his fear of rats as well!
