The most recent spoilers for the ITV soap opera Emmerdale indicate that the villagers will have a challenging week in the Yorkshire Dales.

Belle Dingle stands up against abusive Tom King

This week, James Chase’s character Belle Dingle (played by Eden Taylor Draper) approaches Tom King and convinces him to get treatment for his problems.

But in a sly move, Tom places the blame on Belle during his doctor’s appointment, implying that she is the one with aggressive and controlling behavior issues.

Later, Tom performs for the Dingles during a family supper.

Unaware of his deception, Belle is overjoyed to learn that Tom’s doctor’s appointment went well.

Tom becomes more irate the next day after learning that Belle didn’t wait inside for his package. He calls Belle names and speaks harshly of her late mother, accusing her of spoiling the day.

Belle responds by shoving Tom aside in front of the startled villagers. Has Belle’s public meltdown unintentionally validated Tom’s assertion that she is the troublesome one?

Cain Dingle and Moira Barton accused of murder

Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) worry about Isaac (Bobby Dunsmuir) becoming more and more attached to Minty the Lamb.

The village fair gets underway in custom. Isaac suspects Cain and Moira of wrongdoing after Minty vanishes. Is it possible that the farmers brought the lamb to be slaughtered?

A newspaper photographer and the villagers join forces in the hunt for Minty.

Ella Forster’s dark secrets exposed by villagers

When Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) suggests they stay at Ella Forster’s (Paula Lane) place, she skillfully deflects his proposal, causing Ella to become frightened.

Later, on the outskirts of the village, Ella is seen sleeping in her car; it appears that she does not have a permanent residence. The next morning, while out for her morning jog, Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) discovers Ella dozing off in her car. Ella, horrified, begs Manpreet to protect her secret from Liam.

When Manpreet unintentionally tells Liam that Ella was sleeping in her car, Ella becomes enraged. After some consideration, Ella agrees when Liam suggests that she move temporarily into Tenants’ spare room.

Later, when Ella is moving her belongings into the house, Lisa Riley’s character Mandy Dingle questions her about her family. Ella reacts sharply to an old photograph that Mandy is holding, leaving Mandy perplexed.

Liam and Ella manage their relationship while they adjust to their new living situation. When Ella abruptly leaves the photographer’s studio after declining to have her picture taken, Liam is confused.

Ella visits a care facility later on, but who is she seeing there?

Trio become hit-and-run suspects

When Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) tells Ruby Fox Milligan (Beth Cordingly) that they can’t wake Nicky from his coma just yet, Ruby becomes very upset.

When Ethan Anderson (Emile Jonh) runs into an enraged Caleb, who is upset that Ethan seems unharmed while his son is on life support, tensions rise.

Later, after seeing Ethan in the village, Cain, Caleb, and Ruby become enraged and want to exact revenge on him.

Later, following a deliberate hit-and-run, Ethan is discovered bloodied and battered in the middle of the road on the outskirts of the Village, with a car sped away from the scene. Meanwhile, Ruby and Caleb are waiting impatiently for news regarding Nicky’s health.

A battered Ethan stumbles into view and then collapses on Main Street, shocking the villagers as the fete takes place in the village. Ethan claims he didn’t see his attacker as his family assembles around him after he regains consciousness. The three main suspects—Ruby, Caleb, and Cain—watch the drama play out from a distance.
