After being attacked by Joel Deering, Lauren Bolton of Coronation Street is thought to be dead, however some fans think she may still be alive based on recent episodes.
Fans of Coronation Street think Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) is still alive because they have discovered a crucial clue. When Lauren disappeared from Weatherfield in February, it was later determined by the police that she had been murdered.

Joel Deering (Calum Lill) was identified as Lauren’s murderer last month. The lawyer stormed into Lauren’s apartment and pinned her to the ground in a flashback sequence.

Although it wasn’t shown, it was implied that Joel killed Lauren by viciously attacking her with a broken chair leg. However, fans have conjectured that she might not actually be dead in light of previous scenes.

Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) found out earlier this month that someone had been using her former company credit card fraudulently.

In an attempt to disprove her incapacity to make the transactions, Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) suggested she get copies of the statements.

In need of legal assistance, Bethany went to Joel. Viewers surmised that Lauren might be the one making use of Bethany’s credit card as a result.

“Calling it now… last scenes of Lauren was her in Bethany’s purse,” one person commented. Did she somehow clone or take a photo of Bethany’s work credit card? I bet she was replacing the £5 that had fallen out.”

“Think Lauren is in hiding using the credit card,” said another. Another said, “It’s definitely Lauren who’s been using Bethany’s credit card isn’t it, good on ya gal.”

A fourth person agreed with the theory, saying, “That’s a great hypothesis, especially considering that there are no coincidences or random acts in soap opera world! You may be on to something, in my opinion.

“Mind you, I still think that she could be with her actual mum – if she got in touch with her mum after lawyer thumped her and probably at least gave her a concussion she could be somewhere else in the country entirely with her mum keeping her away from news ‘as she’s not well enough’ They could be using the credit card together.”

Somebody else shared: “This makes a lot of sense. Especially as she referred to it being about buying trainers. Might just be me but I always think of Lauren as having that casual vibe to her.”

Coronation Street usually airs Mondays, Wednesday’s and Fridays, however, the schedule looks slightly different this week. The ITV soap has been axed this evening to make way for Austria vs France which kicks off at 7.15pm.

Monday’s instalment of Coronation Street will air at 8pm on Tuesday (June 18). Emmerdale has also been moved, with two episodes being shown back to back tomorrow evening before Coronation Street.
