Bernie from Coronation Street recently located her long-lost son Kit, but supporters believe the bent copper isn’t her biological child.
Fans of Corrie worry that Kit Green may not be Bernie Winter’s son after they’ve “figured out” who he might be.
Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) acknowledged earlier this year that she had given up her son Zodiac for adoption nearly thirty years prior.
Bernie was determined to find him; all that was known about him was that he had changed his name from Zodiac to Christopher Green shortly after he was born.
Then it was revealed that he was Christopher “Kit” Green, a detective who had just showed up to the cobbles. When it eventually became known that he was Bernie’s biological son, Kit (Jacob Roberts) demanded no contact with her or her family.
In the meantime, Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Paul (Peter Ash), Bernie’s twins, are unaware that they have a brother.
Furthermore, Kit played a role in Nathan Curtis’s (Christopher Harper) imprisonment for Lauren Bolton’s murder. Fans will remember that the problematic young person vanished earlier this year and is thought to have passed away.
However, in a shocking turn of events, Kit framed paedophile Nathan by hiding Lauren’s DNA in his van. However, viewers discovered the truth about Lauren’s disappearance: Joel Deering, a sick solicitor (Calum Lill), actually beat Lauren to death.
Fans are now positive that Bernie was involved in a shocking baby swap years ago, and the adored Cobbles resident may be in for a big surprise.
One fan of Corrie’s Facebook page commented, “I wonder if Kit and Joel were mixed up after birth and Kit is letting Bernie’s think it’s him could be housemates.” Joel is Bernie’s other child.
Another person pondered, “It’s not so unbelievable. Kit and Joel are twins, according to what I’ve read elsewhere. Bernie gave up her two babies, reportedly forgetting she had any at the time due to extreme trauma.
