After tonight’s tragic loss of Minty the lamb, if you were hoping to see how young Isaac Dingle (Bobby Dunsmuir) is doing, I’m sorry to inform you that Emmerdale has been replaced by Euro 2024 coverage on ITV (again).

Fortunately, Metro.co.uk has all the information you require to make sense of the disorganized television schedules. Take a look.

We’ve looked at what’s replacing it and when you can next see it on your screens to save you from tuning into ITV this evening and anticipating a trip to the Dales.

What is replacing Emmerdale on ITV1 tonight?

After a shortened ITV Evening News tonight (Tuesday, July 2), Austria vs. Turkiye will air on ITV1 at 7 p.m. The quarterfinals line-up is set, and kickoff is at 8 p.m.

It’s important to note that EastEnders won’t be airing because BBC One is airing Romania vs. Netherlands; however, you can watch it on iPlayer.

Every four years, the UEFA European Football Championship 2024, also known as Euro 2024, is held; however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the last one was held in 2021.

When will we next see Emmerdale on our screens?

Fortunately, Emmerdale will return tomorrow, July 3, as usual, so you won’t have to wait long.

Following an intense argument between Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) and her husband Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson), during which an insult about Ashley, who is greatly missed, is thrown in, she starts to feel lightheaded and falls to the ground.

We’re left wondering if she’ll make it out alive, terrified for her life and unable to get to her phone to call for help.

In other stories, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) finds transphobic bully Josh (Osian Morgan) and Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) out to lunch, and Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) becomes concerned when Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) learns more about the circumstances surrounding Ethan’s (Emile John) death.

Will there be any further disruption?

The last game will not take place until Sunday, July 14.

Fortunately, ITVX has decided to follow BBC iPlayer’s example and has added episodes to their streaming service starting at 7am on the day of broadcast, giving you more flexibility over when to watch them.
