Emmerdale and Coronation Street won’t air tonight – here’s when the soaps are next on

Another major change to the TV schedule is that tonight, Wednesday, July 10, neither Emmerdale nor Coronation Street will air. Usually on Wednesday nights, ITV1 broadcasts both soap operas.

Nevertheless, Emmerdale and Coronation Street have been canceled for tonight since ITV will be airing coverage of England vs. Netherlands in the Euros semifinal. There will be football coverage from 6.30 to 10.45 p.m.

When will you be able to watch Coronation Street and Emmerdale next?

When are Emmerdale and Coronation Street on?

Tonight’s shows on Coronation Street and Emmerdale won’t air. Wednesdays are when the two soap operas typically air; Emmerdale starts at 7.30 p.m. and Corrie at 8 p.m.

On Thursday, July 11, Emmerdale will return to television with an hour-long episode. The soap opera will air from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Emmerdale will air a 30-minute episode on Friday, July 12 at 7.30 p.m.

Typically, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are when Coronation Street airs. On Friday, July 12, the ITV soap opera was canceled because of football coverage that aired from 7.30 to 10.15 p.m.

Fans of Coronation Street will now have to wait until Monday, July 15 to catch their dose.

What’s happening on the soaps this week?

Even though Coronation Street only aired two episodes this week, a lot of drama has been building in Weatherfield.

Viewers were shocked to see Lauren Bolton return because they had assumed she had been killed. When Roy passed out and had a heart attack, she went to see him at the hospital.

But at the hospital, she saw Joel, her assailant, up close. After a heated argument between the two, Lauren disclosed she is five months pregnant with Joel’s child. After informing him he wouldn’t be engaged with their child, she was able to escape.

Will Joel be able to locate Lauren?

After a wild night out with Nate, Billy found himself in a precarious predicament over in the Dales. Nate had had enough and had to go back to Home Farm with Billy.

Kim made the decision to fill in for Billy. She kept his whereabouts and his condition a secret since she knew Dawn would be upset with him if she found out. Because of infant Evan’s condition, the residents of Home Farm are expected to restrict the number of visitors.
