Ella Forster from Emmerdale made the decision to leave the hamlet earlier this year after the locals found out the truth about her troubled history.
Paula Lane’s character Ella Forster shocked Emmerdale viewers on Thursday night when she returned to the village.
After being found by Lisa Riley’s Many Dingle, Ella admitted she was simply going to return in order to get a few things and had no intention of staying.
She said she wanted to start over somewhere new, even though she had been living in her car.
But after she and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) got into a vehicle accident, everything changed drastically.
Dawn’s biological mother, Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco), unintentionally spiked her rather than her former partner, Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), causing the abrupt collapse.
But there were other unexpected turns of events in the episode besides Ella’s reappearance and her involvement in a vehicle accident.
ITV viewers discovered when Ella was in the hospital that she was expecting Liam Cavanagh’s (Jonny McPherson) child, whom she had been seeing prior to the shocking revelation.
Soon after, people started using Twitter to express their opinions about the circumstances.

When it became known that Ella’s true name was Ruth Davies and that she had slain her friend when she was eleven years old, Ella left the village in June.
Five years ago, after serving the most of her life in jail for her crime, she was freed and reintegrated into society, assuming a new name.
But when she told Liam, he was incensed at her dishonesty since it reminded him painfully of Meena Jutla’s (Paige Sandhu) 2021 murder of his teenage daughter.
Will they resume their romance now that she’s back and expecting his child, even if he’s starting to feel something for Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter)?
