Nish Panesar was put in a perilous scenario with his ex-wife Priya and her new boyfriend Denzel during the most recent episode of EastEnders.
On Wednesday, July 31, viewers of EastEnders were taken aback when Nish Panesar learned the startling truth about his son and ex-wife’s plans.
The evil character Nish, portrayed by Navin Chowdhry, requires a heart transplant immediately after being diagnosed with viral myocarditis. His health will quickly deteriorate in the absence of a new heart.
Nish and his son Ravi (Aaron Thiara) made the decision to set their disagreements aside in the wake of this heartbreaking news. Suki, his ex-wife, played by Balvinder Sopal, chose not to do the same.
Shiv Jalota’s character Vinny, the youngest son of Nish, first refused to interact with his father but then vowed to help him out during their little time together.
In a shocking twist, it was revealed that Vinny, with the help of Suki, has been manipulating Nish in order to inherit the Panesar empire. Now, Nish is aware of their scheme, reports the Daily Star.
In the most recent episode, which is available to watch on iPlayer ahead of time, Nish and Ravi were getting ready to drive Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) to his dialysis appointment. But they declined Priya’s (Sophie Khan Levy) invitation to go with them.
Priya then struck a bargain with Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) in order to get his assistance. He would speak well of her to his friend in return for her utilizing her hospital visiting privileges to spend time with Nugget.
Denzel and Priya reached the hospital at the same moment as Nish and Ravi left for coffee. Although Nugget was happy to see Denzel, he did not greet his mother with any warmth.
Priya made an effort to make amends with her son Nugget, who was still upset about her seeing her and Nish share a passionate embrace prior to his steroid-induced collapse.
Nugget demanded that everyone leave after a heated dispute erupted when Ravi and Nish returned, just when it appeared she was making headway with her son.
Nish threatened Priya, saying he would make sure she never saw her kids again if she persisted in attempting to fit back into the family.
Subsequently, Priya arrived at the Minute Mart, telling the shop assistant to take the remainder of the day off. She then called Nish to the shop, claiming there was an electrical problem.
Priya attempted to film Nish admitting they hadn’t slept together as he was shackled to the pipes and inspecting the fuse box.
Priya decided to leave Nish locked in the store overnight when he refused to obey; she even purposefully put his heart medication out of reach.
Suki and Vinny, however, were subsequently seen entering the store after being perplexed by its closure. They talked about their intentions to take over Nish’s empire, with Vinny freely acknowledging his attempts to harm his father.
Nish’s angry face twisted as he listened to their whole conversation. But with this newfound understanding, what will he do?
