Victoria Sugden saw a man in person during yesterday night’s show who, according to her, might be her half-brother.
Victoria struck up a conversation at Eric Pollard’s old friend’s funeral, which led to their unlucky encounter.
But as viewers get to know Pollard a little more on Friday’s broadcast, John is expected to stir things up once more in the wake of his awkward and unexpected statement that Victoria and the stranger in mourning might be linked.
Tonight’s spoilers for Emmerdale
Actor Oliver Farnworth warned that his portrayal of John Sugden would confound some of the villagers during his appearance on Thursday’s episode of Lorraine.
Oliver remarked, “[John’s] opening gambit is pretty strong from last night’s episode and then as we can see from the clip today we find out a lot about him quite early on,” in reference to John’s eye-popping debut earlier this week.
But he also has a very mysterious side to him. I’ve been filming for the past two months, and there are a lot of things I can’t discuss. However, that is only the beginning—it’s an incredible rollercoaster.
“There’s a lot to come, there’s a lot to come,” Oliver continued.
John, meantime, is expected to “ruffle feathers” tonight. However, who will be the target of the nark? Has he already gained enemies?

Following their heated introduction to one another, Aaron Dingle will probably want to speak with John again later. which, prior to John leaving with Aaron’s possessions, involved a van bunk!
In Thursday’s episode, the two ran into each other once more following John’s second breakdown. Mack had him dragged back to Emmerdale. In the end, after an unexpected reunion, John and Aaron thumped each other instead of hugging.
Although John was happy to see Victoria again, even though he was a little more reserved about it and agreed to be her guest for the evening, it will undoubtedly keep things lively between Aaron and the new Sugden on the block because John also has blood ties to a certain Robert Sugden.
