The wedding date of two former Emmerdale actors, who portrayed brothers on the program, has been announced.

In the ITV soap opera, Kris Mochrie and Max Parker portrayed Lee and Luke Posner. They first connected on the set of the long-running serial drama Emmerdale in 2019, and they went on a number of dates together after that.

In July 2020, the couple posted a photo from a vacation, confirming their romance.

After that, they moved in together, and on a beach in January 2022, Max proposed to a shocked Kris.

At the time, Max shared a picture of the pair sharing a kiss while Kris showed off his sparkling new ring.

He wrote of Kris: ‘He deserves the world, but the best I could do was promise him my heart. HE SAID YES!’

‘Happiest moment of my life. @krismoc my Fiancé,’ Max shared.

Last week (August 7), actor Kris took to his Instagram Stories to share some exciting news regarding his and Max’s wedding.

He confirmed August 7 2025 is the date for their big day. ‘365 days, 365 things to do’, he wrote on the post.

How exciting!

While Kris’ Emmerdale character Lee was killed off in 2019 following a showdown with Robert Sugden, Max remained on the show as Luke until 2021 when he decided to leave – with his final scenes airing that September.

Luke was embroiled in a huge storyline at the time of his exit, after it was discovered that he had been catfishing Ethan Anderson (Emile John).
