This summer, the new Mitchells made a big splash when they moved into Albert Square, but up until now, they have remained mostly unknown. However, that will all change the following week.
The events that follow will start to piece together what drew Teddy, Harry, and Barney to Walford, and guess what? As it turns out, they have a very important secret to hide.
The trio were introduced back in June as Stevie Mitchell’s (Alan Ford) secret second family, which stunned his son Billy (Perry Fenwick), who had no idea of their existence.
Fans have seen Billy begin to bond with his newfound brother and nephews, and next week sees Teddy (Roland Manookian), Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney (Lewis Bridgeman) begin to put down roots in Walford when it is revealed they have bought No. 1 from killer Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith).
After Billy and Honey (Emma Barton) fill him in on the fact Gray murdered both wife Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) and Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) in the house, a clueless Harry makes a tactless remark to Gray’s estranged wife Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams), who is still smarting that her ex has sold the house from under her while in prison.
Teddy marches him over to Chelsea to apologise before reminding his son of the trouble they’ve left behind and the need to make new friends.
They agree to throw a housewarming party, where they later turn on the charm offensive and win over their new neighbours.
But trouble is not too far away, however, as Harry sidles up to Teddy and tells him that ‘you know who’ has been sniffing around their old place to find out where they’ve moved to.
Teddy insists he has everything under control, but who exactly is looking for them, and just what trouble are the Mitchells involved in?
