Three new characters will be introduced to BBC EastEnders viewers in Walford with the announcement of a new family moving into Albert Square; fans have already met these characters previously.
Fans of EastEnders are in for a treat as three new characters make their way to the square. Teddy Mitchell purchased Gray Atkins’ previous property in order to build a new residence in Walford for himself and his two sons.
The BBC One show lovers will recall that serial killer Gray’s decision to sell his property left his ex Chelsea Fox (portrayed by Zaraah Abrahams) and their son Jordan without a roof over their heads.
In the episode aired on Tuesday (August 20), viewers saw Chelsea packing up her last possessions from the house she once shared with Gray, taking a moment to reflect on better times before heading to live with her mother Denise (played by Diane Parish) at 20 Albert Square.
However, the mystery surrounding the new owner of Gray’s house was quickly unravelled as Teddy (played by Roland Manookian) proudly announced his purchase.
In the square’s garden, while gathering with his sons Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney (Lewis Bridgeman), Teddy received the pivotal phone call telling him he could collect “the keys up”, which led to a curious exchange with his sons, reports the Daily Star.
“Keys? “, Harry questions. To which Teddy responds: “Yes mate the keys, that’s why I wanted you here”.
Teddy then revealed his big plans: “Look you know I’ve been thinking it might be best for us to move for quite some time now, and well you getting your face rearranged proved my point.”
Admitting to his recent real estate acquisition, Teddy said: “I kind of bought a house,” and elaborated further by declaring: “You’re now looking at the proud owner of One Albert Square.”
It looks like Teddy and his brood are set for a more permanent stay in Albert Square, sparking interest amongst fans about what skeletons Teddy may have hidden in his closet.
In the upcoming EastEnders episodes, newcomer Teddy is throwing a housewarming party in hopes to win over his neighbours.
Teddy manages to charm both Kim Fox, played by Tameka Empson, and the flats former resident Chelsea, portrayed by Zaraah Abrahams, into joining his celebration.
However, the get-together takes an unexpected turn when Teddy reveals a surprise clause he insisted on including in the contract for Gray’s property, catching Chelsea off-guard.
The drama intensifies as the party continues, with Harry bringing disturbing news to Teddy about “You know who” searching for them at their old stomping grounds, eager to locate their new address.
The identity of the person Teddy is trying to avoid remains shrouded in mystery, leaving EastEnders fans eagerly anticipating future revelations.
