Emmerdale fans are convinced they have worked out which villager is going to take down evil newcomer Caleb Miligan as he continues to cause chaos in the village
Emmerdale enthusiasts are convinced they’ve figured out who will bring down Caleb Miligan as he continues to cause chaos in the Dales.
Viewers will remember that Caleb, played by William Ash, is plotting to build a new empire in the village, aiming to overthrow Kim Tate (Claire King) and reclaim what he sees as his rightful legacy.
To this end, he’s enlisted Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson), who is under the impression that he’s partnering with Caleb. Despite investing a significant amount of money into the supposed new business venture, Jai remains oblivious to Caleb’s self-serving intentions.
In addition to Jai, the scheming Caleb also has plans to undermine Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) by seizing control of his business, Home James haulage, which he co-owns with Jimmy King (Nick Miles). Caleb went as far as to fill one of Home James’ trucks with red diesel before alerting HMRC, leaving the future of the business hanging in the balance as he prepares to take over.
However, after a conversation with Jimmy – who is unaware of Caleb’s plot – Caleb began to feel remorseful this week. Jimmy discussed his difficulties following the imprisonment of his daughter Angelica (Rebecca Bakes), believing Caleb to be a friend and opening up to him, unaware of his true intentions.
Despite Caleb’s ongoing execution of his nefarious plan, fans are confident that he will soon face the consequences of his actions, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Emmerdale aficionados are abuzz on social media with predictions that Jimmy King could be the one to topple newcomer Caleb.
On a fan-dedicated Emmerdale Facebook page, one viewer remarked: “What horrible people Caleb and Ruby are poor Jimmy setting him up. It’s ok for Will he has money but Jimmy has a family and not a lot of money coming.”
While another added: “Ruby and Caleb will get their comeuppance, evil will not triumph over goodness and Jimmy is a gentle soul.”
A third fan speculated: “I have a feeling Jimmy will find out what he’s up to and out him.”
alongside another commenting: “Maybe Jimmy finds out so Jimmy will or Nicola will take him down.” And a fifth supported the sentiment, insisting: “Please be Jimmy! I hope he can stop him.”
