Next week on EastEnders, a shocking pregnancy announcement will be made as Anna Knight (played by Molly Rainford) learns of her pregnancy.
But as their relationship starts to fall apart, the news that she is having a child with boyfriend Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) couldn’t come at a worse time.
Fans of the BBC soap opera are aware that Anna is presently battling her affections for Bobby Brazier’s closest friend, Freddie Slater, who is attempting to separate himself from her despite being madly in love with her.
In forthcoming scenes, Anna tells Bobby that she’s having a hard time, and he wants to cheer her up but duty calls at Beales’ Eels so he tries to enlist Freddie to help.
Determined not to be alone with Anna, Freddie makes up a flimsy excuse that leaves Anna hurt. When she later plans to ask if everything is okay between them, she has a dizzy spell before she gets to him.
Later in the week, Anna and Freddie agree to a group night out with Gina (Francesca Henry) and Bobby, but when Gina and Bobby are late to arrive at Walford East, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) teases them about being on a date.
Freddie then flees making up another weak excuse, leaving Anna upset. As then Gina confronts him, she soon realises that Freddie has feelings for Anna too.
Anna’s troubles are exacerbated when she goes to find Freddie and then throws up in the café before she can speak to him properly.
Gina quizzes Anna about whether she could be pregnant and they head to buy a test, where they are nearly caught by mum Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).
Upon taking the test back at the Vic, Anna is stunned when it returns a positive result – what will she do?
