Claire Sweeney wowed fans as she showed off her new look. The soap star is renowned for her role as Cassandra Plummer in Coronation Street and her previous role as Lindsay Corkhill in Brookside.
The 53-year-old has been a hit with fans since she joined the Cobbles last year. Cassie has been at the centre of a number of major storylines as she repaired her estranged relationship with onscreen son, Tyrone Dobbs.
Cassie has become an important character in Weatherfield as the she has worked as Ken Barlow’s carer and it was teased she could become Steve McDonald’s new love interest. Away from the screen, Claire regularly shares updates from her exciting life in showbiz on Instagram.
She has taken to the social media platform to reveal her new hairstyle as she is sporting shorter locks. She shared a snap alongside the caption: “New hair thank you @hadleyyatessalon @goldfeverhair.”
Claire’s Corrie co-stars were thrilled with the new look. Emrhys Cooper, who plays Rowan on the Cobbles, took to the comments and said: “Wow! Gorgeous.”
Amy Barlow star, Elle Mulvaney, shared a heart eye emoji as she heaped praise on Claire. Other fans also took to the comments to praise Claire after she showed off the new look.
