The actor was seen spending quality time with his family, including enjoying a slap up Sunday lunch in Greater Manchester, after he watched his son head off to school for the first time.
Ryan, 40, shared a black and white snap of himself and Roman sharing a hug on their front doorstep outside his and Lucy Mecklenburgh’s city home.
Alongside the post, Ryan wrote: “My boy became I little man today.” Meanwhile, Lucy shared her own snaps of herself giving Roman and hug and a kiss ahead of his first day in the hallway of their home, alongside which she said: “Roman’s first day of school,” with a crying face emoji and a red love heart.
Now, after spending time with his family over the weekend, former Coronation Street star Ryan shared a sweet snap of himself with his daughter, Lilah, as they dined out at The Bubbleroom bar and restaurant in Bramhall on Sunday (September 8).
In the photo, Ryan, who shot to fame playing Jason Grimshaw in the ITV soap, titled his head and gave a slight smile for the camera as his little girl almost matched his expression as she sat on his knee in an adorable strawberry-themed two-piece.
“My little strawberry,” the dad-of-three captioned the sweet snap before the comments quickly came flooding in describing his youngest child as he ‘double’.

Others, meanwhile, likened her to older sister Scarlett who Ryan shares with his Coronation Street star ex Tina O’Brien. @dilihou shared: “Gorgeous. She looks so much like Scarlett.” @ltwig7 typed: “She’s double of Scarlett.” @iamrozan added: “Scarlett reborn.”
It comes days after teenager Scarlett was seen twinning with her mum as they seemingly continued their big American adventure. Last month, Tina revealed she’s jetted off to Los Angeles alongside Scarlett, her husband Adam Crofts and their son, Beau. Then on Friday (September 6), Tina returned to Instagram as she reshared a video posted by Scarlett of herself and the Waterloo Road star posing in the mirror in which they gave peace signs to the camera.
The pair looked alike with the wet blonde locks down and both sporting mini dresses and sandals, hinting they were still in sunnier climes. “Love you @tinaob83,” actress Scarlett captioned the post which Tina reshared with the Frank Ocean track, Moon River.
