Emmerdale has been pulled from the TV schedules once again because of ITV’s coverage of the England men’s football team

Emmerdale fans are going to be left wondering what happens in a major storyline with the soap removed from tonight’s TV schedule.

This is nothing new unfortunately for Emmerdale devotees with ITV’s coverage of the football regularly causing disruption. There will be no showing of Emmerdale on ITV1 on Tuesday, September 10.

This is because the broadcaster is screening the England men’s football team play against Finland. This comes at a time of a big storyline revolving around a barn fire.

The shocking scenes have left some characters fighting for their lives. Acting talents Natalie J Robb and Beth Cordingly, known to viewers as Ruby, were involved with a team of specialists while filming the explosive scenes.

Stunts doubles, for the stars, were used in the squad of experts with the scenes taking a week to film. It has been suggested that the lives of Moria and Ruby, as well as possibly other characters, could well be at risk.

As we’ve previously reported, teasing what’s to come Natalie, who plays Moira, candidly said: “There is an explosion and maybe not everybody gets out of that explosion.” Fans will have to wait a little longer to see how the storyline concludes.

Below, you’ll find when Emmerdale will be on ITV1 for the rest of this week:

  • 7.30pm – Wednesday, September 11
  • 7.30pm – Thursday, September 12
  • 7.30pm – Friday, September 13
