Fans of Emmerdale can expect more drama on the Dales the following week.

Victoria gives John old family pictures to start the week, but she gets irritated when he ignores her and spends all of his time on his phone. Victimized of being ignored, she lashes out and takes John’s phone away.

When she discovers he’s been texting Aaron, she’s astonished. Victoria, still in shock over what she’s learned, asks John about his covert relationship. Vic wonders what else John might be hiding when he storms out of the pub.

Later on that day, Victoria knocks on John’s vehicle with the intention of saying sorry, but she receives no reply. Victoria opens the door and discovers dog tags bearing the name “Aidan Moore” imprinted on them.

When John arrives, he’s enraged by Victoria’s invasion of privacy and throws her out. Later on, John acts quickly to prevent Pollard’s angina attack, and Liam’s impressed by his quick thinking. John awkwardly enjoys the praise and accepts the job at Brook Surgery.

Tom is still at large but rumours abound he’s still seeing Amelia secretly – although no one else has seen him. This week, Belle gets a call from Kim (her landlord) that the house has been left in a mess and soon Lydia supports Belle as they prepare to enter the house together.

Inside a messy Dale Head, Belle notices a screw on the floor and identifies it as a mini secret camera. She is mortified by the revelation that Tom has been secretly filming her. The next day, Lydia tentatively encourages Belle to go to the police when she describes feeling violated by Tom’s hidden cameras. But is concerned when Belle adamantly refuses to report her ex-husband, scared of having to relive traumatic experiences and share personal footage in court.

Having reflected, Belle asks Lydia to share her experience reporting Craig to the police. Whilst Belle’s left thoughtful, Lydia’s upset after bringing the memories back to life but hopes it has aided Belle.

That evening, the pair reflect on their difficult day as they gaze over the Dingle land. United in their support for each other, Lydia hopes she’s said enough to encourage Belle to go to the police.

Meanwhile Amelia seems to have revised her opinion of Tom and there is hope when she arranges to meet privately with Belle to talk about him. But is Amelia to be trusted in this regard or is she too now under Tom’s influence?

Later on, Amelia gets the wrong end of the stick and gives Belle and Chas both barrels for their campaign against Tom. After some digging, Amy and Kerry both suspect that Amelia must still be in contact with Tom.

Alone at the Dingle’s, Belle waits for Amelia but is horror-struck when Tom lets himself in, blocks her exit and proceeds to lock the doors.

Worried that her ideas are too modern for a church setting, Charles and Claudette bicker with Laurel about her thoughts for the harvest festival. Charles is enraged when he sees that Laurel’s gone ahead with her own ideas without consulting him and he finally snaps. But their hatred quickly turns into passion as they end up kissing. Shocked by their attraction, the pair enjoy some spikey back and forth before heading upstairs.

Unaware of what’s happening, Manpreet encourages Jai to tell Laurel how he feels about her and privately considers doing the same with Charles. Having made up her mind to tell Charles, Manpreet arrives at Woodbine.
