NEIGHBOURS icon Paul Robinson is set to find himself in mortal danger as a storm rips through Ramsay Street in upcoming scenes on the Channel 5 soap and viewers could be bidding farewell to one of the show’s most beloved characters.

On Neighbours, Paul (Stefan Dennis) has had a tumultuous start to the year after rescuing his estranged wife, Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), from falling off the top of the Lassiters Hotel. Glen Donnelly (Richard Huggett), the iconic character’s brother, has returned after 30 years, and the cutthroat businessman has practically devolved into a shell of his former self.

However, a storm will descend on Ramsay Street on the day of Roxy Willis’ (Zima Anderson) and Kyle Canning’s (Chris Milligan) wedding in this week’s episodes of the Channel 5 soap. Paul will undoubtedly be among those injured in the devastation, but will he perish in the tragedy?

The winds start to pick up after the wedding and the guests descend on the Flamingo Bar to celebrate the night away.

Residents of Ramsay Street continue to celebrate their friends’ big day despite the danger looming outside, until calamity strikes.

As the building collapses with cherished individuals still inside, the bar becomes the focal point of the tragedy, and viewers will watch as those who managed to flee scramble to locate their loved ones.

Terese notices Paul lying unconscious in the wreckage while Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) tries to aid a seriously injured Britney Barnes (Montana Cox).

Terese stays at her estranged husband’s side and asks for aid, knowing that this could be the end of his life.

Terese begs her estranged husband to wake up so they can work things out, but his injuries appear to be too serious.

It is unknown who will perish as a result of the destruction, but at least one life will be lost in the storm.

Following the incident, a unique time jump will air in which the residents of Ramsay Street decide to assemble for a memorial to pay their respects to the fallen.

Terese will stop at the Flamingo Bar, where she last saw Paul battling for his life, for some alone time.

The identity of who is dead will remain a secret until the memorial service takes place but could this be the end for icon Paul?

Stefan, the actor who plays Paul, recently spoke up about one of his plots on the program that never materialized.
In 2020, the iconic character married Terese, the love of his life, but not before his six ex-wives arrived.

Certain elements of the tale were altered from the original screenplay, which disappointed the soap star, who has been on the show for nearly 40 years.

Stefan highlighted his favorite narrative in an interview: “It’s the one that never happened, where Paul and Terese were meant to get married in Las Vegas.”

“We were all set to fly out there, but there was an issue with the visas, and then COVID hit.”

“It would have been the same same plot, with all the ex-wives showing up,” Stefan said, “only in Vegas instead of Queensland.”

“That would have been my favorite,” he told Inside Soap, but might reminiscing over one of his best stories be a sign he’s leaving the show?

Following speculations that the show was being scrapped last year, Stefan appeared to be in excellent spirits regarding his future on the show.

According to reports, adjustments to the Australian schedule meant the soap would be canceled, but the soap star vehemently refuted this.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the actor said: “I don’t know what that’s all about, to be honest, I only found out about it the other day.”

It has something to do with catch-up, as far as I know. “I don’t know the whole story because I haven’t gone out and asked,” the actor continued.

“To be honest, it hasn’t troubled me all that much, but there’s obviously some sort of politics behind it [cutting the episodes from five to four].”

“At the moment, we’re probably as safe as we’ll ever be, and there’s no reason to be concerned [about the program being canceled].”

“Certainly not when we’re cranking out narratives like we are.” “They like it on Channel 5,” the actor added.

“The beauty of a show like Neighbours is that it evolves with time, which is why it has lasted so long.”

Viewers have been discussing his current narrative and problems with Terese on Twitter, but might his death be a tragic ending to the storyline?

“You can do this Paul- keep pushing through, become a better person, and I’ll get my power couple back #Neighbours #UKPace,” Katie added.

“Good God Paul just bin her…she just ain’t worth the effort #neighbours,” Forde wrote on the social media platform.

Kenny added: “Ghost of Christmas past, present, last year, the year before… it’s hard to keep count with Paul. #Neighbours.”
